Sunday is the first day of the week, which is one day after the Sabbath day which could be counted as the eighth day. Using the search, type in the eighth day and read the 21 scriptures referenced. They warm my soul.

Hi Rachel, I am a seventh day Adventist - Sabbath is on Saturday. Jews kept it and still do ever so methodically. Sunday as the rest of holy day was instituted a few hundred years after Christ's death. Sunday observance is not biblical. It is an invention. Jesus kept Sabbth so did his disciples before and after his death. The only way Roman Catholics or other Christian denominations justify keeping Sunday as Sabbath and some even call it Sabbath is by saying Jesus rose on Sunday - let's celebrate it - but this is a human invention. Roman Catholic Church even proves that Protestant church adhere to Catholicism by keeping Sunday holy. Other Christian denominations say it doesn't matter which day you worship God on - so long as you do. But God did not sanctify Sunday or bless. I chose to marry and love and cherish just one specific woman - not any other. So there are endless theories out there as to why Sunday should be the day - but the truth remains: it is not in the bible - it's false. I was Christian orthodox Eastern Europe and when I heard about Saturday being the last day of the week - the holy day - I was so blown away - and I decided that I did not want to be orthodox Christian anymore. I was in my early teens and I am 32 now - it has been by far the one decision that I like very very much.

Is the sabbath Saturday? Or Sunday? My boyfriend and I are conflicting about this.
