1 Corinthians 6:12

All things are lawful unto me, but all things are NOT expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

1 Corinthians 10:23

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify NOT.

You can smoke but you may reap cancer.

Doesn't it make better sense to cherish the Holy Spirits fellowship? Why grieve Him?

Or quench the Holy Spirit?

If we are born again..He comes to dwell within us.

Susan Dalton's comment on 2012-09-22 20:12:25:

"Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God." (Acts 7:56) Our cat had five kittens. Here lately, the kittens have been staying outside all night. When they want to come inside, they meow at the door. Some times, late in the night, one will come to the door. I get up and let the one in. Soon as I lay down, another one comes. I get up and let that one in; and so it goes until all five have come in. I thought to myself one night, "Jesus, must be standing all the time." He is the door and His are coming home all the time. Sometimes when I go to open the door, all five kittens come zooming in. It is a rush of energy coming in all at once. It is a different pleasure than one coming at a time; when one comes, I receive that one, and I anticipate each other ones to come. Mass tragedies on our side cause great sorrow, but I can only imagine the great energy and pleasure that Jesus must have when a great number of His come home all at once.
