Notice how the passage lacks fluidity with the verses before and after? Seems to be thrown in there for no apparent reason as it has nothing to do with the context of passages surrounding it. And why is it that a curse so simply verbalized then immediately bringing about the consequence of said curse and yet when persecuted by the royal court and Baals prophets these men of God fled in hiding Elijah . Why not just curse them?
