That was a great testimony you shared, Michael. It was a joy to read of your fire for the Lord & His Word. May He bless you & encourage you in your endeavours for His Kingdom.

Michael's comment on 2020-12-28 06:33:25:

Amen Brother,

When I was in Rome carrying the Cross, I ran into a precious family of Ex -JW's

Who were diligently passing out salvation tracts to everyone in front of the Main Train station in Rome.

My friend Brian who was carrying a cross with me recognized The Father of the family. His name was Eric Gresingobber. Brian said the Eric had came to Christ for the Nations while Brian was enrolled and taught the students how to witness to JW'

Apearantly he and his family were high up in the watchtower society when the whole family got saved.

The Father and Mother and two 20 year old sons were with an Ex- Catholic Preist who was married to an Ex- Catholic Nun. This team who were like the black sheep of their past were passing out Tracts and preaching JESUS to everything that moved.

They were a great blessing to Brian and I, as we had ran out of salvation tracts and were hitting print shops to make more. They gave us thousands of them.

Eric would ask me each day if I was going over to the moslem area again.

He enjoyed listening to the battle I would have with them, when they would sworn around me demanding of what I thought about Mohammed.

I have watched JESUS fall on them as I spoke HIS Word.

That's very good that you could share with them in that way. Though I suspect that they may not be as well informed with their own Scriptures. The New World Translation Bible translates 2 Corinthians 13:5 (in part): "Or do you not recognize that Jesus Christ is in union with you?" Once again, they conveniently change the Greek from "in you" to "union with you" - quite a change & quite a difference to the original Greek. So, the Son of God Who indwells us (by His Spirit) all of a sudden becomes one that is 'joined' to us, thereby negating the omni-present power of the Saviour.

And of course, Revelation chapter 1 speaks wholly of Jesus Christ & His claim, even in verse 8, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." And this shows the full Deity of Christ, to which of course the JW could never see or agree to. It is tough going with them, since they use a translation that has been adequately changed to deny Jesus His rightful position in the Godhead. But keep at it, brother. I too have a great time with them, so much so, that they avoid my house altogether in their 'travels'.

Michael's comment on 2020-12-21 22:30:07:

I have used this verse many times while preaching to JW's and have had them concede. After having them agree with me that only God can be Omi-present I then drop this verse explaining that if JESUS is in many people at once then he is Omni-present thus having the authority of God.

I also like showing them Revelation 1 and asking them who the alpha and omega is, who is this person who says: I am the beginning and the end?

They will say: it is Jehovah.

I will then ask them to read the next part; I am he that liveth and was dead and behold, I am alive forever more.

JESUS Is LORD!

Thank you Carolyn. Actually, I don't have all the answers - they're all from God's Word & should be contributed to those seeking answers. So often, questions go unanswered for various reasons, which I'm sure can be quite discouraging to those who are earnestly seeking, so it's my prayer that, not just my response, but others also, will be of some benefit & may even foster some discussion that could add to our knowledge of the Word. After all, that's why we're all here: to enjoy the Word shared & fellowship with one another as the family of God. Blessings.

Carolyn Kennedy's comment on 2020-12-20 17:01:30:

I'm so glad you have all the answers.

Chris's comment on 2020-12-20 14:47:57:

Just to be theological & maybe, a little pedantic, though we often read of Christ being in us (Colossians 1:27), the reality is that Christ, as God Who is also Man, is presently seated at the right hand of the Father (Luke 22:69, Colossians 3:1). So when it is said that Christ is in us, we actually mean that He is there by His Spirit (Romans 8:9-11; 1 Corinthians 3:16). While it's not wrong to say that Christ lives in us, the correct understanding of this is that Christ is there by His Spirit in all who have been born again by Him.

Michael's comment on 2020-12-20 05:45:27:

This is a test to tell rather you are in the True Faith.

Is JESUS CHRIST in You.

If the answer is Yes. Then You are in the Faith, especially if you can hear His Voice and are following Him.

If not then you are reprobate from the Faith.

Now we know that only God can be omni-present. That is to be in more than one place at one time.

So if JESUS Christ is in more than a million people at any one moment, then He is more than a man. 2 Corinthians 13:5

ubong Johnnie's comment on 2014-06-27 19:29:46:

Examine yourself if you are truly in the faith. Let me share with us two things on how to know that you are still in the faith 1. The holyspirit of God will undoubtedly prove to you in your heart that you are. You dont need to think am i still in the faith?. If you are, the holyspirit will be glad and will not hesitate to let you know that you are still on the right ground. But if you are not, that 's when you will start to contemplate and ask yourself "am i still in faith????? " 2. The bibles says greater is ye that is in me than ye that is in world. If you are in the faith, nothing can stand befor you as a barrier. Everything including demons and even Satan itself will be afraid of you. This is because they know who you are. I finally pray to God that you do no evil not that you should appear approved, but that you should do that which is honest, though you may appear and others may think you as a reprobate. God bless you.

Shay's comment on 2014-06-17 05:34:11:

To test whether we are in the faith, we have to measure our conduct in the light of what we learn from the bible. To prove what we ourselves are, we have to evaluate the level of our spirituality, including the sharpness of our perceptive powers and the extent of our works of faith,

Robert Benson's comment on 2014-02-16 21:20:06:

You try and test judge yourself by JesusChrist who is the living word of God Jesus the mirror to you soul let s you see yourself to be real or an impostor faker God s love through the Holy Ghost reveals your motives So with the mouth the mouth speaks and the heart believes Come who wants to
