2 Kings 18:15 And Hezekiah gave him all the silver that was found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king's house. 2 Kings 18:16 At that time did Hezekiah cut off the gold from the doors of the temple of the LORD, and from the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria.

2 Kings 18:14 And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.rnrnStudy and meditation are the best answers!!

A timely message from Heavenly Father's proposed purpose for King Hezekiah down through time, to a place such as this. The space I take up before Him now. The message remains the same 'this day for myself' namely, Remember His great merciful kindnesses to me and mine. Repent, return to Him and re-connect to the Great I Am. Then, allow Him full sway, and Return to His presence, knowing there is nowhere else more sure.

Since Hezekiah had been guilty of pride and not responding to the kindness God had done to him, he was left alone so that it could be tested whether his repentance was sincere and lasting.
