BLESSING OTHERS SHOULD NOT JUST BE IN WORDS... My son 's prayer was answered last night as I dozed off to sleep on the couch. Power had just been turned off in our area. My son had asked for a bike early this year and I promised that I would only do that by December as I had a loan that needed to be paid off by then. Propped on my couch, I dozed off and was asleep. Suddenly, a voice woke me from my sleep and said, "bless your son. " I woke up, checked where my son was sleeping and he wasn 't there: went to his bedroom only to find that he was fast asleep. Early this morning I was relishing the idea of what sort of blessing I would give to my boy - perhaps just lay a hand on him and say a few words... Well I was wrong. when I enquired from his cousins, I was told that my son diarised December as the month he was to receive the bike from you and that he is always talking about it. There I had it! He sees me put monies in the offering basket, pay for bills and other things and clearly, he couldn 't stop but wonder if there shouldn 't be surplus enough to get him a bike! I haven 't yet bought it, but my spirit has agreed that I need to do it and pronto! Recently, the pastor at a fellowship I attend has been asking my son to hold the offering basket and pray for the offering - I don 't know if it is by divine appointment, but that is going to cost me a bike! King James Version of 1 John 3:17. But whoso hath this world 's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue but in deed and in truth.
