In V. 21, Paul directs us to Isa. 28:11-13 on the tongues subject, where the Lord says,"This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest, and this is the refreshing, yet they would not hear". They seemed to prefer "Precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little, that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken". Let's be willing to function in his kingdom by his rules.
